11 Week Ultrasound, First Trimester

January 12, 2017 – I had my 11 week ultrasound. The night before I could barely sleep, I was so nervous and excited. This ultrasound was to check for any abnormalities with the growing baby and it had been several weeks since i’d heard the heartbeat. The appointment went great and I was so relived. Baby is measuring just as he/she should. Was super bouncy during the ultrasound, kept waving his/her hands and feet. Likes to put a hand in front of his/her face. Now that we know things are looking good we’ll start slowly sharing the news with family and friends. After a year of disappointment i’m finally allowing myself to get excited. I also started purchasing some maternity pants and tops as clothes are starting to get tight…

Because of the nausea, i’ve only gained 2 lbs so far. I’m thankful since i’m sure it’ll catch up to me further along in the pregnancy!
