Hi Guys,
Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year is so special for us, not just because it’s our first Holiday Season with Evelyn but because this is the week, last year, that we found out we were pregnant. If you haven’t read my first blog post about our TTC journey that lasted over a year and finding out we were pregnant at our first infertility appointment you can read about that here.
I’m so thankful for how much our life has changed this year. I just remember that huge wave of relief when we found out we were pregnant. I’m thankful for my Husband who has grown into this amazing father and family man. Having a new baby can be stressful but we’ve found so much joy and laughter during this time. I’m thankful for our most precious gift of a daughter who has filled such a huge hole in my life and heart. And I’m thankful for everyone who reads my blog and the little community of supportive friends, moms & moms-to-be I have in my life.
This Holiday Season my heart also goes out to everyone who is currently on their TTC journey. This year, I’ve had so many women reach out to me about their struggles, miscarriages, and happy announcements of rainbow babies. If this is something you are going through, please know that I am sending you the biggest virtual hug. I know how dreaded being around people for the holiday’s can be with the inevitable “When are you two getting pregnant?” comes up.
